IMPOA
IMPOA and IMMD are two closely-knit organizations that serve property owners in the Indian Mountain Subdivision.
The Indian Mountain Property Owners Association is a separate but cooperative entity with the Indian Mountain Metropolitan District. IMPOA is supported by your volunteer membership and donations, while IMMD is a government organization funded through tax dollars. Both provide complementary and joint services to the community. This link provides a comparison of responsibilities between IMPOA and IMMD.
A brief background of Indian Mountain is found on the IMPOA website. We also encourage a visit to the entire IMPOA website (www.impoa.net) as it contains general information about the community, Park County land use regulations, building in Indian Mountain, wildfire mitigation, Indian Mountain facts, and much more.
Volunteering
IMPOA also sponsors Dumpster Day, road sign installation, chipping days, community cleanup, boundary fence repair, community events, and contributes to the Indian Mountain Water Service Program in conjunction with the primary stakeholder IMMD.
These activities would be impossible without help from the many volunteers in our community. New volunteers are always welcome and needed. To volunteer, you can fill out an on-line volunteer interest form, or download a pdf version and either mail or drop it off at the Indian Mountain Community Center.
